I’m Elisabeth (Liz), the creator of The Foreign Mom, a family-focused lifestyle and printables blog designed to inspire and support moms navigating motherhood. Whether you’re bilingual, multicultural, or simply looking to make life easier and more joyful at home.
I’m a German-born mom of four raising my family in the United States, and I use my background in psychology, child development, and early childhood education to create helpful resources for moms everywhere. On my blog, you’ll find educational printables, bilingual worksheets, kids’ activities, family recipes, seasonal ideas, organization tips, and practical guides for everyday mom life.
My mission is simple:
to help moms feel supported, creative, and confident, no matter where they come from or what their day looks like.
My Story
I moved from Germany to the United States in 2009, and becoming a mother in a foreign country shaped me in ways I never expected. After welcoming my first two children in 2015 and 2017, I realized how important community, creativity, and connection were for moms like me. That inspired me to launch The Foreign Mom in 2018.

My Background & Expertise
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Magna Cum Laude) with a minor in Art. My studies focused on parenting and child development, which naturally grew into my passion for creating educational materials for kids.
Before building digital products, I created sensory kits and activity boxes. Now, as a mom of four (including a baby), I focus on producing printable resources that offer families convenience, affordability, and creativity.
